The Vineyards

The story of a wine begins at the vineyard and the earth that surrounds it. It is here that the vines and its fruit are treated with great care and passion, combining tradition with innovation.
The farms currently operated by the Antica Cantina Leonardi are the following:

San Poggio: Historical farm that stretches for 11 hectars in the town of Graffignano, situated on a plateau overlooking the Tiber valley 400 meters above sea level.
The grape varieties planted are those typical of upper Lazio and lower Umbria: Grechetto, Verdello, Trebbiano, Malvasia and more recently Montepulciano and Chardonnay.

Marcello: A newly conceptualized farm which streches for 24 hectars alongside the hills that overlook lake Bolsena. Just 4km from the town of Montefiascone, home of the Antica Cantina Leonardi.
Since its beginnings in 1998, this farm has been a mix of tradition and innovation. The vines here are a mix of the classic Est! Est!! Est!!!, Trebbiano, Malvasia and Roscetto as well as more international varieties like Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Shiraz, Chardonnay, Reasling, and Sauvignon Blanc.
